Benefits of a Drone Roof Survey
Drone roof surveys offer a fast and convenient way to capture clear aerial images of hard-to-reach roof areas.
Visual Clarity
Drone surveys provide a clear aerial overview of your roof, including close-up images of specific areas such as tiles, gutters and chimney flashing.
They also allow safe access to areas that may be difficult to view from the ground.
Convenience and Safety – No Ladders or Scaffolding
Drone roof surveys avoid the need for ladders or scaffolding in many cases, making the process quicker, safer and less disruptive.
Aerial imagery can often be captured without the cost, setup time or inconvenience associated with traditional access methods.
It also avoids the risks involved with manually accessing roofs at height.
Own Imagery
Having your own roof images can also make it easier when speaking with roofing professionals or obtaining repair quotes.
You also have your own photos you can fall back on after a roof repair or work, so you can compare the before and after.
Common Reasons for a Drone Roof Survey
Our drone inspection service is for people who want their own photos of their roof and can help with things such as:
- Roof leaks and loose tiles
- Storm damage
- Guttering checks
- New home buyers’ reports and surveyors
- Decide for yourself if a roof needs to be repaired
- Pre and post roof repair work to compare images
Common Questions
What Locations Do We Cover?
We operate from the Falkirk area and also cover surrounding locations including Stirling, Cumbernauld and parts of Glasgow.
Send us your postcode, and we’ll let you know if we can help.
How Are My Images Delivered?
As soon as we have finished your inspection, we will go through your images, package them and send them over to you however you like within 24 hours of the survey.
Is Scaffolding Required?
No scaffolding or ladders are required for these drone roof surveys.
Do I Need To Be Home?
No. You do not need to be home for our drone roof surveys. Once you arrange a date and time for the inspection, we will conduct the drone inspection from a safe location near your property.
Is This A Full Roof Inspection?
No. This is a visual drone roof survey only and does not replace a physical roof inspection or professional roofing advice. You can use our images to provide to a roofer for a quote or advice, which we can recommend if you require it after the images are provided.
What Types of Properties Do We Survey
We survey the roofs of residential and commercial buildings. As long as we have legal access to fly a drone above the building in question and there are no restrictions, we can survey your roof.
Can Drone Surveys Identify Storm Damage?
Yes. Our drone surveys can highlight visible signs of damage on your roof after a storm and any areas that may be causing a leak. We cannot offer any roofing advice based on these images, though.
